报告题目: Extraction of PDFs from Lattice QCD Calculable Parton Correlation Functions

【报告摘要】

Unlike extracting parton distribution functions (PDFs) from experimentally measured cross sections, it is crucial to adopt an appropriate renormalization schedule for lattice QCD calculable parton correlation functions so that we can properly identify the infrared safe matching coefficients for the extraction of PDFs from these renormalized lattice correlation functions. In this talk, I will present a prescription to minimize the sensitivities on the specific choice of renormalization scheme for lattice correlation functions. Through numerical calculations and predictions, I will demonstrate the feasibility of extracting PDFs (including gluon PDFs and sea-quark PDFs) with considerable precision under this scheme. The feasibility of extracting higher precision PDFs using the latest N3LO matching coefficients will also be demonstrated.

 

【报告人简介】

李正阳,于2021年获得北京大学理论物理学博士学位。2021年至2025年期间,他曾在杰斐逊实验室的理论与计算物理学分部担任博士后研究员。他的研究兴趣包括从格点QCD中提取PDF和高阶费曼图计算。
