【报告摘要】

I first emphasize the importance of analyticity as one of the fundamental principles for physics research. Dispersion relations, which physical observables must respect, are constructed. A dispersion relation is then solved directly as an inverse problem. It is shown that this approach improves the theoretical precision of conventional QCD sum rules greatly. Applications to the determinations of ground- and excited-state properties in QCD are presented. At last, I mention the attempt to extend this approach to studies of scattering amplitudes in general.

【报告人简介】

李湘楠教授，中国台湾中研院物理研究所特聘研究员，1992年毕业于纽约州立大学石溪分校。从事微扰量子色动力学和重味夸克物理领域的研究工作，在B介子的非轻衰变方面，对因子化方法的发展做出了重要贡献。其中单篇论文引用超过500次的有3篇，成为微扰QCD因子化方法研究B介子非轻衰变的经典论文；引用超过100次有20篇。学术荣誉包括：2007年获全球华人物理学会亚洲成就奖，2010年获伊朗科技部Khwarizmi国际奖。
